Stamped concrete is the process of patterning concrete to resemble any number of natural and man-made textures such as brick, slate, flagstone, stone, tile and even wood. This page will describe briefly how stamped concrete can be used to beautify pool areas, decks, driveways, entries and courtyards, and patios.
Because there is are a wide array of patterns and colors to choose from and the cost of stamped concrete compared to the materials stamped concrete is a substitute for, the choice of stamped concrete is very cost effective. The flexibility of the process, the available color combinations, and the range of patterns, all new work can be blended into the existing landscape to enhance the existing appearance.
Surfaces can be poured like traditional flat stone and then stamped or existing surfaces can be overlaid with special concrete, which provides you the home owner with options. In some situations you might choose both, to increase an area and blend an existing area to create a uniform appearance.

The picture above is an example of an area that was increased but the existing patio was overlaid.

The properties of the materials we use have been specially designed to withstand severe climates and exterme weather conditions. Special instructions to maintain the appearance include using nonabrasive anti-slip like dirt instead of salt and using plastic shovels to remove snow to avoid scraping the surface.
